9:00 am: pick up by your guide at the place of your accommodation in champagne or directly at the station of your choice.

9:45 am: enjoy an exceptional panorama of the hillsides and discover the different grape varieties, traditions and specificities of the region thanks to your guide who will give you all the keys you need to make the most of the day’s visits.

10:30 am: visit of “Drappier” Champagne House. Discover their cellars dating back nearly IX centuries, their flagship Pinot Noir grape variety, but also the family spirit conveyed by the 3 generations still in business. After the visit, you will enjoy a three flutes tasting.

12:30 pm: lunch in the old cellar of the monks of Clairvaux. This restaurant will charm you with its interior and its vaults highlighting the inscriptions of the winegrowers dating from the 1930s. You will taste bistronomic dishes made up of local products such as “andouillette au soumaintrain” but also many other recipes!

2:00 pm: guided tour of the Cistercian Abbey of Clairvaux, founded in the 12th century by Saint-Bernard and transformed into a prison by Napoleon. You will discover in particular the splendid building of the lay brothers with its cellar and its dormitory (12th century) and also the classic Grand Cloister of the 18th century. A real plunge into history!

4:00 pm: visit to a family winemaker’s estate located not far from the Clairvaux Abbey in the charming village of “Colombé-le-Sec” and whose medieval cellar is the most remarkable element. A rich and authentic visit that will allow you to discover another facet of the Chamapgne’s world.

5.30 pm: end of this rich day full of discovery!
